AbbPREMEMORIAL DAY POLLING
Summations of the polling have been solidified with one last ditch poll that shakes up the campaigns, turning them on their heads, perhaps and giving the campaign managers a lot to think about over the long weekend. With new polling numbers in, here is the overall results if the election were today. These numbers combine all prior polls to come up with the total.
One might question why the changes took place, but last minute visits by campaign managers to meet the people at townhalls, such as a tactic done by the Count / 2HM campaign, as well as cleverly designed positive commercials (such as that done by the Roosevelt / Sherlock team) meant increases in voting, and other teams, often targeted by negative advertisements meant a leveling off in numbers.
No matter the reason, the results are saying that there's no real way of pinning down a winner just yet.
MAY 26th UPDATE

Cookie / Alistair - 24 votes
Big Bird / Snuff - 18 votes
Oscar / BDM - 16 votes
Count / 2HM - 16 votes
Virginia / Snerf - 14 votes
Abby/ Elmo - 12 votes
Roosevelt / Sherlock - 10 votes
MAY 23 UPDATE

Big Bird / Snuff - 16

Count / 2HM - 10

Pre-Weekend Analysis:
By week's end Cookie and Alistair have a commanding lead with a 7 vote gap between them and the number two positioned Big Bird and Snuff campaign. Close behind, in a virtual pack, Abby/ Elmo, Oscar/ BDM and Ernie/Bert are all within 2 to 3 votes shy of second place. The Count and his VP candidate, as well as the Virginia / Bennett ticket and the Roosevelt / Shylock team are within "breathing distance". This pollster ultimately calls this case "too close to call" at this juncture, especially with neither the Teacher vote surveyed, nor the full numbers in the student vote.
Interestingly, the move by the Ernie and Bert campaign as well as the increase in the Count / 2HM camp move both teams into an arena of respectful turnout. Most notably, though, the Cookie and Cookie team burst unto the scene overshadowing all others, while the two teams with the admittedly difficult obstacle of obscurity, namely the campaigns led by Virginia Virginia and Roosevelt Franklin, have a lot of distance to cover if they want to take the lead.
